Request Account Deletion
Mazhali is operated by Minna Minni Studio. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and personal data.
Who this applies to
This process applies to parents and guardians who have a Mazhali account.
Staff and teacher accounts are managed by your school administrator and cannot be self-deleted. If you are a staff member or teacher, please contact your school administrator to have your account deactivated.
How to request deletion
To request deletion of your account, email us at [email protected] with the subject line:
Account Deletion Request
Please include:
- Your full name
- Your registered email address
- The name of your school
We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of your request.
What is deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo
- Your account login — you will no longer be able to sign in
- Your push notification tokens
- Your guardian links to children
What is retained
For the school’s records and legal compliance, some data is retained but anonymised — your name is replaced with “Deleted User”:
- Messages you sent (the content is kept for the school’s records; your name is removed)
- School operational records such as attendance and daily reports where you appear (anonymised)
- Any photos you are not the sole author of
Child-specific data
If you would like us to delete photos of your child without deleting your account, include this in your email and specify which child the request applies to.
