Welcome to Mazhali. As a teacher, Mazhali handles the repetitive admin work — attendance records, parent notifications, daily reports — so you can focus on your class. It also gives you a direct line to parents without needing to share personal phone numbers.
Step 1: Check Your Email for an Invitation
Your school admin sends invitations from the Mazhali admin panel. Look for an email with the subject line containing your school’s name. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it within a few minutes.
Step 2: Accept the Invitation and Create Your Account
Click the link in the email. If you already have a Mazhali account (from another school), log in and you’ll be linked automatically. If you’re new, create your account with your email and a password of your choice. Invitation links expire after 7 days — if yours has expired, ask your admin to resend it from the admin panel.
Step 3: You’re Linked to Your Class
Once you accept, the admin’s class assignment takes effect immediately. You don’t need to do anything else — your class or classes appear on your home screen as soon as you log in.
Your Home Screen
After logging in you’ll see:
- Your assigned class or classes — tap any class to open it
- Quick access to Attendance, Daily Reports, and Feed from inside each class
If you have multiple classes, they are all listed and you can switch between them freely.
Installing on Your Phone
Mazhali works on Android and as a web app (PWA) in your browser. An iOS App Store release is coming soon.
- Android: Download from the Google Play Store and log in.
- iPhone (coming soon): The App Store app is on the way. Until then, open the Mazhali URL in Safari and tap Share → Add to Home Screen to install it as a PWA.
- Browser (PWA): Open the Mazhali URL in Chrome or Safari, then use “Add to Home Screen” for an app-like experience on any device.
Can You Be in Multiple Classes?
Yes. If your admin has assigned you to more than one class, all your classes appear on the home screen. Each class has its own attendance list, daily reports, and feed.
Where to Get Help
If something looks wrong — a child is missing from your list, you’re in the wrong class — message your school admin directly through the app. Tap Messages in the bottom navigation, then select your admin’s name from the conversation list.
