Why Your School Uses Mazhali
Mazhali brings your school and your home closer together. Instead of wondering how your child’s day went, you’ll see real-time updates, daily reports, and stay connected with teachers—all in one app.
Step 1: Check Your Email
Your school admin sends an invitation email to the address they have on file. Look for an email from [email protected] with the subject line starting with your school’s name.
If you don’t see it, check your spam folder. Still missing? Contact your school admin—they may have a different email address for you.
Step 2: Click the Link and Create Your Account
Click the invitation link in the email. You’ll be taken to Mazhali’s sign-up page where you’ll:
- Enter your full name (as you’d like it displayed to teachers)
- Create a password (at least 8 characters; we recommend mixing letters, numbers, and symbols)
- Accept the Terms of Service
- Tap Sign Up
That’s it—you’re in!
Step 3: Your Child Is Already Linked
No additional setup needed. Your school admin linked your account to your child when they added you as a parent. When you log in for the first time, your child will already appear on your home screen.
If you have multiple children at the same school, they’ll all appear in one account.
What You’ll See in the App
When you first log in, you’ll see four main sections in the bottom navigation:
- Home: Photos and updates your teacher shares with the class (the feed)
- Daily Reports: A log of your child’s daily reports — mood, meals, nap, activities, and photos
- Messages: Private conversations with your child’s teacher or the school admin
- Calendar: School events and your child’s class schedule
Your home screen also shows a quick dashboard with tiles for each of these sections so the most important updates are one tap away.
Installing the App on Your Phone
Mazhali works on any device—phone, tablet, or browser. We recommend installing on your phone for quick access:
On Android (Google):
- Open Google Play
- Search for “Mazhali”
- Tap Install
On iPhone (iOS) — coming soon via the App Store: The iPhone app is on its way! In the meantime, you can use Mazhali on your iPhone right now as a web app (PWA):
- Open the Mazhali link your school sent you in Safari
- Tap the Share button (square with arrow) at the bottom
- Tap “Add to Home Screen” and then Add
The Mazhali icon will appear on your home screen and opens full-screen, just like a native app.
Prefer not to install anything? You can also just open Mazhali in any browser and log in — no installation needed.
Multiple Children at Different Schools?
If your children attend different schools that both use Mazhali, one account covers them all. If you are enrolled in more than one school, a school selector appears at the top of your home screen so you can switch between them.
Haven’t Received an Invitation Yet?
Contact your school admin and let them know your email address. They can resend the invitation or add you to the system.
